On my first visit I had not been able to climb to the castle. This time I decided I would. There is no road and for much of the climb you have to follow some goat trails or just trust your luck. The climb was well worth the trouble: the views from ever increasing heights on the old town were impressive, and at the top the sight of the coastline to the west was spectacular.
In the centre of the picture the bath house I called 2, in its back there was a theatre of which little remains. You can also see the aqueduct and, in the right hand top, some of the necropolis.
