From the western church, straight up to the eastern church, there was a 115 m long colonnaded walkway that never got fully finished. To its right: the steep mountain slopes and impressive panoramic views. To its left: the baptistery and the small adjacent oratory, convent cells and rock tombs where coins from the 4th, 5th and 6th century were unearthed.
