Some pupils from the special school that is now situated in the former Janissary barracks. These boys were from all over the country. I did not quite get why they are here and what they study for, but the setting was ideal.

I have to apologize to them: I took several pictures, and they should have been very sharp. However, I later found that a button on my camera had slipped into a different position, so I was using manual focussing (without paying attention) while I thought it was on automatic. I hope Nikon will fix this somehow (I speak of the button on a D2x to the left of the lens, for manual, autofocus single shot or autofocus contiuous: it should be lockable). With some extra sharpening this shot will do.
