These are some pictures of the northern part of Istanbul. Some are of a street with fine commercial (mainly banks) buildings, almost at the foot of the hill, with its adjacent staircase that seems to reflect upon itself. Others are of some of the fine buildings further uphill. Some views were shot from halfway the top, from in front of the Pera Museum
