This is what remains of a Byzantine Castle. What you see seems to be the central part, but much of a small hill, extending into the lake, is walled in. Must be fine in summer for picknicks. Now I was troubled because some clouds decided they were well posted over the lake, and remained in place. So I was chilly, and it looked fine a mile on.
