Across the street there is this mosque. It looked like a church and may have had a Christian architect. Still I had the feeling it was built as a mosque.

there is a small school back of this building. It is my first school where my education was started. Thanks Dick, all the pics were great, you did a great job.

It was the church of the Greek community, fuctioning after 1923 as a mosque. It has the characteristic architecture of post-byzantines basilicas common in Asia Minor and in the islands of Eastern Greece opposite to Turkey
