Having visited the temple of Zeus I expected to find the other remains of the city nearby. However, without a decent map and having to rely on the information of local farmers who themselves were not very interested I made a mess of that. I walked for some mile, then hiked a ride into what I thought would be the right direction , and found I somehow passed whatever remains there were. I had to hurry to get back to the main road to get to Bandırma before dark.

These may well have been some of the remains. You may understand why it was hard to find them: the terrain is hilly and full of trees.
