In front of the entrance to the courtyard there is, to either side, a smll street with shops, a usual arrangement to supply the mosque with income through rent. This one is particularly fine, partly because in front of the entrance there is another entrance, the two are connected by an arch. I think the parking of cars in that area spoils much of the aesthetic potential.
