I disagree on two counts: I am pretty certain it started as a mosque and remained so, and, having seen quite a lot of Armenian churches, I think it doesn't look like one. I'll look into it though.

And "dwelling" is a place where one dwells, that is: lives. A huge building for religious purposes will never be called a dwelling.

Hello, I believe this dwelling is a former church. The architecture is typical of Armenian churches.
