I was stationed in Trabzon in the Air Force in 1955. I attended the Catholic Church there on Easter in 1955. We lived in apartments, mine was at 21 Ich Sokat (sp?) as I recall. There were only about 40 of us, one Officer, one non-com, the rest enlisted men.
It looks like alot has changed since those days. No paved roads, got supplies in once a month, had to use international mail--was tough, but a great experience.

I was stationed in Trabzon on Bostepe from 1966-67. I was just curious to see how it looks now. I went to a Catholic Church in town for Christmas Eve Midnight Mass. Is it still there? Peter
