The Ulu Camii or Great Mosque. A new building that - apart from the minaret - looks a lot like a modern cinema. And when one enters it has that aspect too: nice carpets, stairs leading up to the central room. It gives a feeling of luxury, and the ornamentation is of a high quality. It dates from 1997.

The ablations fountain is on the outside, covered with the modern type of tiles that in my opinion always have the disadvantage that you can see they are not hand made. The great old Inzik tiles always show some individuality, the modern ones look sterile, however well done they are.
