The fortress opposite Çanakkale, in Kilit Bahir, looks very nice from almost any angle, this is from straight ahead at the Çanakkale side. Zoomed out a bit the small village surrounding it becomes visible. Nice place to go and drink a glass of tea near the old harbour, or start a hike in the hills behind it.

Klit Bahir (Lock on the Sea) was built in 1452 under Mehmet the Conqueror (as was the fortress on the other side). I use the name indiscriminately for the fortress and the village, maybe mistakenly.
