The fortress opposite Çanakkale, in Kilit Bahir, looks very nice from almost any angle, this is from straight ahead at the Çanakkale side.

Klit Bahir (Lock on the Sea) was built in 1452 under Mehmet the Conqueror (as was the fortress on the other side). I use the name indiscriminately for the fortress and the village, maybe mistakenly.
