Hierapolis necropolis inside grave

After roughly walking along the southern flank of the terrain, I reached a necropolis on a hill that overlooks the great theatre, which we'll visit later.

On a map I found the area indicated as "Develi Tombs". Maybe develi is from deve, camel, I can imagine this grave (I'm inside now) reminded people of the two humps of a camel.

Being an educated man I do not for a moment doubt what is the language used. Being a polite man I do not want to bother my audience with obvious knowledge.

I do receive a lot of offence from Greek viewers, lots of it along the childish, whining lines of your comment. Some Greek people seem to think we owe them a debt, and I don't agree. Whatever the ancient Greeks did or thought or invented has nothing to do with current Greece. I feel indebted to some of them (and not all, for sure). But I am glad I don't owe the likes of you a thing.

For that reason I do not generally publish comment like yours.

You made me so angry I break my rule. For anybody stupid enough to think I might consider Aphrosias is a Turkish word, I state it is not. For the rest I stick with the Encyclopaedia Britannica. You may notice it does not refer to Greeks either in the text I quote. So I suggest you take your hurt pride to that Encyclopaedia and complain. Their laughter will be Homeric.

And could you do something about that dreadful English of yours?
