After a visit to the agora I climbed towards Kadifekale (Velvet Castle). From there one gets great views over the city (and a nice fortification in the bargain).

If you climb the stairs immediately to your left upon entering you get to the top of the walls with great views over much of the city. Here you look to the space within the walls.
