Near Kasim Sultan Mosque is its mosque, famous for its rectangular minaret that stands on four columns, and for that reason is named the Dört Ayakli or Four Footed Minaret. It’s from the fifteenth century.

Dear Mehmet,

Thank you, I have adjusted the text. I know the difference between feet and a bed, even in Turkish (I always ask a "tek yatakli oda" or single-bed room in hotels (and then often get a twin bed room for the same price). I must have been sleepy when I typed this. As for the suggestion to visit the castle you mentioned elsewhere, I'll think of it when I get in the neighbourhood, thank you.

First of all, i want to thank you for Diyarbakir.
Name of minare in this picture is "Dört AYAKLI minare". Yatakli means bed in turkish.
