Amazing... If you go all over Kastamonu, you see fine examples of woodworking, like this one... Kastamonians perfected woodworking, man. And thanks to you, we see them on the net right now.. We need more tourists like you to explore, man. I got raised in kastamonu till i was 15 but never took pictures and posted them... Well, that time there was no internet though :).
I would recommend you go see Cide next time, too. They do historic wooden ships there. Cide is 50 or 60 kilomters to the west of Inebolu, on the Black Sea coast. Also, if you have time and a horse/donkey, visit some mountain/forest villages near Kure. Kure is near Inebolu, a lil bit inside. See the villages during the winter, watch them have fun with their own style of winter olympics: snow-sliding with self-invented/self-made stuff.
