You can climb up to the Kale or fortress. There you can get some tea, served by the keeper who seems to live here with his family. One of his duties seems to be to fire a cannon, I don't quite know on what occasions, but it's quite loud and startles you the first time. After a while you get used to it. The fortress is sitting on a rock that goes down quite steeply on one side, the walk to the top takes you through some nice neighbourhoods, with fine old houses and friendly people, who go up and down the steep streets with ease.
