This is a view of the fortress hill. The ruins that you see somewhere contain Hittite parts, but they have been covered over by a 1059 Fatamid restoration that later fell into disrepair. It's nice to climb, however, and provides great views. And as with any good fortress you can go into the interior and get out at unexpected spots like the tower below us.
