Orta Hisar means "middle fortress", it's a bit like Üçhisar in that it has a hole-riddled rock in it’s center, but is less imposing from a distance. One can walk through some fine valleys, again not quite of Göreme or Ak Tepe quality, towards Ürgüp from here.
