Uchisar to Cavusin sept 2017 3870.jpg

One here enters a part of the valley that is a kind of trap. I repeatedly have walked to its end (either crossing the bridge we see or keeping to the left). Each time there is a point where a road seems to go down, then becomes impassable. I have a strange recollection of, clinging to the rock, I once walked on a ridge. If there ever was such a ridge, it has now been eroded (or taken) away. I think the only feasable way of getting on is to climb a path that is badly indicated, up the hill to once left (if walking from Uchisar. It is not very difficult, a bit steep, but it can be done. At the end one comes to an area with some fields, from where one can take a road back to Uchisar, or go more to the right and find one of several descending roads. I have the strong feeling the route is better known now, I saw several other walkers, and even a group of Swiss people doing the route on mountain bike.
