This is a fountain cum namazgah in the Esma Sultan Square, built by Esma Sultan, daughter of Sultan Ahmed III. On three fronts is a faucet. In rectangular panels there are inscriptions, giving the date of construction. Two bath basins are placed on supports shaped like a reverse-bell on the north and west corners, the south corner has a three-compartment drinking basin. The namazgah (an open air prayer area) is positioned on top of the fountain building, it can be accessed by a flight of stairs on the north side.
