On my first day in town in 2014 I was delighted to see firemen trying to save a cat that did not dare leave its high position in a tree. After lots of effort it fell to relative safety, but as people tried to catch it, and chased it through several parts of the shop next to the tree, it escaped to precisely the position in the tree where it had been when I first saw it.
