Standing on the northeastern edge of the acropolis, and looking to the east. At its foot, the Roman theater and the farming village of Altınkaya (formerly: Zerk) occupying the area of the antique lower city of Selge, some 1100 m above sea level. The mountain range in the background are the Hasan Dağları, which are part of the Taurus (Turkish: ‘Toros’) Mountains.
