This is a building with niches next to the stadium, it is probably much older than that stadion. It was according to a medaillon found here a religious place for the worship of many gods but was partly brought down for the reconstruction of the stadion. During Byzantine times babies who died were placed in amphoras in the niches, to be protected by the gods.
