Single-handled vessel with a sanctuary model inside. From Eskiyapar (near Alaca, Çorum province).
Baked clay. Height: 8,4 cm. Diameter (rim) 12½ cm. Old Hittite, 17th-16th century BC.
Light brown paste, brown slip, dark grey mottled. Burnished. The vessel is wheel made.

Inside the vessel: a representation of a seated goddess in high relief. She holds her breasts with her hands. On her head a large disc decorated with round knobs in relief. In front of the goddess, a table with cylindrical leg and on it a black semicircular sacred object (probably bread). Opposite the goddess a beak-spouted pitcher (a libation vessel).
