From Alişar Höyük (45 km southeast of Yozgat). Old Hittite, 17th-16th century.
Baked clay. Both wheel and handmade. Burnished. Height: 11½ cm. Diameter: 8½ cm.
Made from light grey clay, dark grey slip. Eyes and mouth incised.
Rhyton = a container from which fluids were intended to be drunk, or else poured in some ceremony such as libation.
