These pictures I took at the mosque of Yavuz Selim. I add them to the gallery concerning that mosque, but will add the ones with a view on the Golden Horn (the view is magnificent from that spot) to my general Istanbul Gallery also.
On the picture: (left) The Süleymaniye Mosque, surrounded by some of its secondary buildings (mental hospital, soup kitchen and hostel) and (right) the Tower of Beyazıt (built as a watch tower in 1823) lying on the grounds of the University.
