This is the mausoleum of Sultan Mehmed III built by the architect Dalgıç Ahmed Ağa, 1608, with the tomb of Sultan Mehmed III (reign: 1595-1603) and 25 others (of, for instance, his mother Handan Sultan, sons and daughters of Sultan Ahmed I and Ayşe Sultan, who was Murad III’s daughter). It has an octagonal ground plan, is covered with a dome and has a main hall and two lateral rooms. Chambers for the royal princesses were later added. To the left and right of the entrance there are paintings which distinguish it from more classical tombs.
