My original impression, when editing these pictures, was: Some golden coins. Late Greek or early Roman period.
The light in the museum was poor, and gold reflects, sometimes harshly. I got dazzled somehow myself, for when a viewer wrote they might be decorations - either for clothing or for military equipment, being inlaid, I took a closer look and now agree.
This is a blow-up to illustrate - the inserted enamel parts are obvious in the top right piece. Not very sharp, sorry.
