On the picture: (from right to left): Under the trees stands the Aktekke Camii (or: Mader-i Mevlâna Camisi = Mosque of Mevlâna’s mother), from 1371; in the middle of the picture – from the same period - one sees a row of seven cells with each their own chimney, where dervishes could spend time in solitary confinement, following the example of their master Mevlâna; in the background: the Hacı Beyler Camii (1356).
