I visited Ceyhan several times during a March 2008 holiday, when I was staying in Adana. From the Adana minibus-station one can get to Ceyhan in about an hour. On the way there one passes the Yılankale or Snake Castle, and from Ceyhan some other castles like Anavarza and Tumlu Castle as well as the nice harbour town Yumurtalık are within easy reach. The town itself is modern and spreads out wide. I took only a few pictures, since I was mainly passing through. And the weather was overcast on most occasions, so expect nothing spectacular. I wondered if I should show these few pictures, but I had promised several people they would see their picture in a matter of about a month, so I have to keep that promise.
Lived in Ceyhan as a teacher from 65-68. Thanks for the great up to date photos.
65 den 68e kadar Ceyhanda öðretmen olarak kaldým. Çektiðiniz güzel fotoðraflar için çok teþekkür ederim.
