There is a, by now well-restored, theatre in Ayas (aka Elaiussa Sebaste) from which one looks down on the former agora and a basilica, with the Byzantine palace to the left across the highway. The Wikipedia claims " a theater dating to the 2nd century AD, an extremely small structure with only 23 rows of seats, whose steps and decorations succumbed to centuries of plunder.
