The Archaeological Museum in Antalya has a very rich collection, I think it deserves a visit of hours. Part of it is a collection of statues and other sculptural works which adorned the theatre in Perge or public buildings in that city. There also are some fabulous sarcophagi. A statue of Hercules that was claimed to be the best copy of a work by a Greek master was on prominent display. A continuous track of string music sounds pleasant for the first minute or two, then gradually drives you mad. There should be a “stop the music” button.
Antalya has a wonderful old part, called Kaleiçi, and a Antalya kaleici museum.
