A 15 days-long trip to eastern and north-eastern Turkey (East Anatolia and Black Sea Coastline). Main purpose of the trip was to photograph as many as possible regions specialities and to see also a few species that I have missed on my previous two trips to this amazing country, on May/June 2001 and May 2010.
Highlights of the trip have been: Demoiselle Crane, Caucasian Black Grouse, Caspian Snowcock, Mongolian Trumpeter Finch, Paddyfield Warbler and Citrine Wagtail ssp calcarata. Other interesting species, to name a few: White and Dalmatian Pelicans, black morph of Long-legged Buzzard, Blue-cheeked Bee-eater, Radde's Accentor, Pied and Finsch's Wheatears, Siberian Stonechat ssp armenicus, nominate Ménétries's Warbler, Caucasian Chiffchaff, Green Warbler, Grey-necked Bunting.
