In this gallery I present a selection of the birds that I have seen during a 12-days long bird trip to Terceira and Corvo Islands, Azores. It has been mainly a "twitching" trip, not a photographic one. Highlights of the trip: 1 Redhead (Aythya americana), American Wigeon (Anas americana), Blue-winged Teal (Anas discors), Ring-necked Duck (Aythya collaris), Surf Scoter (Melanitta perspicillata), Sooty Shearwater (Puffinus griseus), Rough-legged Hawk (Buteo lagopus sanctijohannis), Semipalmated Plover (Charadrius semipalmatus), Pectoral Sandpiper (Calidris melanotos), White-rumpaed Sandpiper (Calidris fuscicollis), Semipalmated Sandpiper (Calidris pusilla), Spotted Sandpiper (Actitis macularius), Lesser Yellowlegs (Tringa flavipes), Wilson's Snipe (Gallinago delicata), Roseate Tern (Sterna dougallii), Buff-bellied Pipit (Anthus rubescens), one Catharus Thrush sp., Northern Waterthrush (Parkesia noveboracensis), Yellow-throated Vireo (Vireo flavifrons), Red-eyed Vireo (Vireo olivaceus), Blackburnian Warbler (Setophaga fusca), Black-throated Green Warbler (Setophaga virens), Blackpoll Warbler (Dendroica striata), Magnolia Warbler (Dendroica magnolia), Common Yellowthroat (Geothlypis trichas), Scarlet Tanager (Piranga olivacea), Indigo Bunting (Passerina cyanea), Dickcissel (Spiza americana).
