In this gallery I present a selection of the birds that I have seen during a 15-days long bird trip to Corvo Island, Azores. It has been mainly a "twitching" trip, not a photographic one. Highlights of the trip (in parentheses: total number of birds present on the Island) : 1 Blue-winged Teal, 2 American Golden Plovers, 1 Buff-breasted Sandpiper, max 4 White-rumped Sandpipers (7), 1 Pectoral Sandpiper, 1 Chimney Swift, 1 Eastern Wood Pewee (2), 2 Philadelphia Vireos, about 5 Red-eyed Vireos (>10) , max 3 American Buff-bellied Pipits (max 5), 1 Cliff Swallow, 1 American Barn Swallow, 1 Veery, about 4-5 Grey-Cheeked Thrushes (5-7), 1 Swainson's Thrush, 1 Hermit Thrush, 1 American Robin, about 10 'Greenland' Wheatears (>20), 1 Common Yellowthroat (2), 1 Blue-winged Warbler, 1 'Brewster's-type' Warbler, 2 Blackpoll's Warbler, 1 Black-throated Blue Warbler (2), 1 Northern Parula (3), 1 Black and white Warbler (2), 1 American Redstart, about 5-6 Scarlet Tanagers (7-10), about 7-8 Rose-breasted Grosbeak (7-10), at least 4 Indigo Buntings (about 10), and max 22 Snow Buntings (28).
