In these galleries you may see a selection of the birds that I have seen during a 20-days long bird trip to the Azores. During this trip, my fourth on the archipelago, I visited the islands of Corvo and Sao Miguel. It has been mainly a "twitching" trip, not a photographic one. Highlights of the trip have been: 1 American Whimbrel (Horta), max 7 White-rumped Sandpipers, max 5 American Buff-bellied Pipits, 2 Cliff Swallows, 1 Scarlet Tanager, 1 Lesser Yellowlegs, 1 Rose-breasted Grosbeak, 1 Indigo Bunting, 1 Bobolink, 1 Spotted Sandpiper, 1 Philadelphia Vireo, 2 Wilson's Snipes, 1 Common Yellowthroat, 2 Red-eyed Vireo, 1 Northern Parula, 1 Black and white Warbler, 1 American Golden Plover, 1 Sooty Sherawater and 1 Snowy Owl (all on Corvo), 1 Pied-billed Grebe, 1 Willet and about 10 Azores Bullfinch (Sao Miguel).
