 Charles Dickens' house: While living here (1837 to 1839), Dickens wrote Oliver Twist, Pickwick Papers and Nicholas Nickleby. |
 Tate Gallery: Saw paintings by J. Turner & special exhibit of Friedrich's, "Winter Landscape," - two of our favorite painters |
 London: Trafalgar Square - constructed in 1830's. Rallies & public meetings here. Statue of Lord Nelson (1842) on top of column. |
 National Gallery: One of the greatest collections of European paintings (1260-1900). Saw a special exhibit of Goya's, "Maja." |
