maybe my favorite image! my new sony wouldnot work... and i took my broken nikon and snapped fast... 1/9th sec :(,
then took a 2nd shot of just the young girl! but thought i had deleted it, likely my favoirite image by mistake... but i now find it is
on a balky/damaged flash card... i can not download it... but am glad it exists in some elusive form and hope to recover it... ideas??
i can see it for a sec in the camera... and then it flashes ...bad format or somesuch heartache!

this image comes to you by a giant satelitte dish and my pushing a card reader into a pc here ... it just fit, and then pushing a thousnad buttons a gazillion times... and then slkiing somehting and then taking the card out to find the jpeg number and thren trying all over again and then finding the numjber and pusing a butoon and then ...nothin for a very long time...

this image comes to you from a few moments ago right here in Pohnpei, filled with gorgeous children who regal at there images on the lcd screen... this shot comes cause i dragged my old nkon along.. and low and behld my new sony r1... decided to nolonger accept the battery that has workded before,,, so of i went with the old broken camera that works a bit... and here is a scene of 3 young Pohnpeian children for you to enjoy..
i now walk to Gracie's Specail Bakery for chesseburgers with cheese from Japan, and you will be happy to know that a boat game in so now the island has lettuce... or maybe i will go to angies, and have fresh grilled tuna for breakfast with rice!
anyway i had wnated to load the next shot of just the young girl with her hands and arms doming out of her shirt... but now you have images of 3 children... don reporting from a speck of an ialnd in the vast pacific rich with beauty and gentle culture! i am off to see Rob's High school for the first time this morning! take care, don

ps i will be leading an oline travel photography workshop here
lesson #1... you may not want to swim with flash cards filled with 500 images, espcecailly if it is the salty pacific... just a suggestion from my experience... make your own choice.. ps.. the ater was fine... the images are not... ideas... someone online said... salt crytals created a short circuit and someone could clean the card??? who would that someone be... have you swum with flash cards????
