i bought these roses for Carolyn who came up to maine for my herias surgery! she would not take them home... left them here for me to enjoy! this was a quick hand held shot with my nikon 8800... which is broken and rarely will focus...
i just unbosed my new Sony R1 and to my amazement there is ntohing i hate about it yet! sight unseen... and it focuses much like an dlsr almostintantly and seeminlgy perfectly... my nkon would hunt and hunt and id try to get the same shot many times and often give up... this new 10 megpixel fast focusing all in one, but only 5x not 10x seems like a may like it a lot!!

ps i tried cropping this to be a bit closer but decided i wanted to keep the little curl at the left..which i felt was almost too close to the edge fro comfort and posted this origianl here... liking it better
