BEECH LEAFS HOLD ON THRU THE WINTER.............DSCN0769.JPG

the tones in this are like the tones of my last 2 pads... i am drawn to old clinging leafs... but need to work on the compostion of this and focus better... i find it hard to find the picture with these leafs and need to experiment more...something i am willing to do more than when i started... usually one shot and off i went... also this is one of those no sun rainy snowy days with no shadows or wonderful highlights, but i sem to find things to see whoses gentleness and simplicity effect my minds eye.... this was one of those...

oh i go to long island by ferry and ferry again to shelter island long island newyork tomorrow... when i went last week it was the wrong week! maybe i will see ocoean brds and treee swallow and maybe opreys on shelter island... ill try to dellete some shots to make some room... have a nice day, don thanks for all your wonderful comments!

It's difficult to get good shots on a cloudy, dark day but here you captured the soft quietness of it. It's really a pleasing image.
