overexposed, badly focused... kind a like it... this is the pad i meant to upload 9661

well, i have learned to shoot a bit darker, less exposed since this shot, and i only took one, now i might take 2 or 3 AND i am learning to focus more selectively now sometimes trying to focus 1/3 of the way in or on what i really care about instead of the stupid dig cameras just fucus boom.. without the careful old time for me turning of the focus ring... do the slr digitals let you focus witha ring you turn very precisely?????????????? if so they may be my next one day camera...i miss focusing beyond the silly little high lighted spots in my nilkon 8800....anyway i travel by ferry 2 of them to long isnand new york from conn. and see my son for lunch ... he will werve me in his new and firsst fancy rest job......he just got admiited to columbis grad school writing program!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and my last ferry will leave me on shleter island of long isl new york

i like in the overexposed shot the red and grey... i seem to be very attracted to red and as you have seen as jude has done i will even shoot a stop sign or budweiser sigh caouse they are red...well the bud sign may be for other reasons as well that i try to deal with on a daily basis... i like the line leading to the greena dnt he little bird houses...maybe i will go to see the lupines and have pancakes with my sife agian this june... and try this shot agoain more carefully, ... iwonder if they will do red agina l... i could like pink... and thanks to Norma for telling me about and directing me to POLLYS and the LUPINES! yak ayk yak, best, don

ps i will try to get a couple of shots from the ferry and on shelter island!

It's a glorious blast of red there agains the ferns, and a good story to go with it too.
