As a Christmas gift, we had the opportunity to see Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre on Broadway on a cooold January Saturday in 2011. Stayed with our Yale Bulldog, took the train in from New Haven, walked though Rockefeller Plaza and Times Square, walked Madison Avenue and Broadway, met Elmo & Cookie Moster, enjoyed a street vendor hot dog and pretzel for lunch, shopped at M&M World and Hershey Headquarters, and saw an absolutely BRILLIANT production. Wicked was wonderful. Just delicious. "Popular" was fantastic -- "For Good" was even better. What a treat!! NO photos allowed in the theatre .. umm .. so, here are a handful of tourist shots (using the point/shoot) for memories ... Bonus - seeing Em at The Currier Museum on the way home!
