Welcome to a wandering photographer's glimpse at the 2010 St. Michael's College softball Purple Knights. Our Katelyn is a senior at St. Mikes -- majoring in Chemistry/Math and playing centerfield as she completes her college softball career. She's joined by three fellow classmates -- Heather (C, Education), KellyE (2B/P, Education), and LindsayB (1B, Accounting) -- who have been a joy to root for as the years have flown by. These seasoned seniors are joined by a promising mix of enthusiastic juniors and sophs and a nice crew of newcomer freshmen. They'll be fun to watch!

We're blessed with the flexibility to see most of their games and, naturally, I'll take some photos and share them here throughout the season. This grand adventure has come to an end after four years, more than 180 games, and 27,500 miles ... It was wonderful to watch -- thanks to all who played a part in it! Kate earned the Keleher Award as SMC's Top Student Athlete -- and got named to ESPN The Magazine's Academic All American list for the 2nd straight year ... Congrats, Katelyn -- or as the team says, way to go, Billie! Now go get them, Bulldog.
