SMC Softball 09 vs AIC

SMC continued its winning ways, splitting a doubleheader with AIC. Mikes had the lead in game 1, but AIC stole it in the 6th. SMC jumped out with a 6-run first inning in game 2 and carried that momentum to the victory. AshleyH and MegO each had 2 hits in game 1, while KellyL blasted a 3-run HR to fuel the scoring. AshleyH had 3 more hits in game 2 and MegO had a triple with 3 rbi and 2 runs scored; Heather and KellyE each had 2 hits in game 2. Kate had a single and 3 walks on the day, stealing a base and scoring a run ... MegO won her third consecutive start - way to go MegO!
