SMC dropped a pair of close games to Southern New Hampshire, 5-3 and 4-2, despite playing well and having the lead in both games. SNHU rallied twice to take the victories. KateC and AshleyH both hammered home runs in game 1 to pace the offense, Kate contributed a sacrifice bunt and an RBI groundout ... A number of players adjusted to new positions, with Kate moving to SS and AshleyH going Center while MegC went to Third and AshleyL and KellyL going to RF -- and each player adapted quickly.

It's a treat to play SNHU, as we get to see MegR, who played HS ball with Ellen in Enosburg and played ASA with Kate & Heather on our Vermont Rockets. Naturally, I got a few MegR pics to go along with the typical SMC fare ... :-)
