After winning a thriller in the early game, SMC found itself tied 1-1 with Medaille midway through the later game, as KatieW started on the mound and delivered a strong performance. KellyE came on in relief and the Purple Knights' bats came alive on route to a 4-1 victory. Heather continued to anchor the defense, this time tagging out a runner at the plate on a KellyE to MegO to Heather 1-3-2 double play. KellyL had three hits and Ashley had two, Katelyn contributed a single and a run scored and made a number of nice catches in Centerfield as KatieW earned her first collegiate win.
