After a wild week, Marilyn and I spirited away to Saratoga with her folks and a brother-in-law to enjoy a day at the horse races. Such a fun distraction. Marilyn and her family treat horse racing like it's fantasy football: analyzing stats, watching participants for clues, drawing insights from names, studying odds -- and each of them had a win, with Marilyn's Dad winning more than he bet overall ... Meanwhile, I wander around and take pictures (and I called Sidearm for the win). It was a hot day -- but a well timed strawberry shake from the Shake Shack near the paddock really hit the spot. Good to get away.
