As a bit of an "antisocial hobbit", I have mostly shy'd away from portraits or "people pics" - even candids or street photography. Other genres are more familiar and don't carry the pressure of what the subject itself thinks of the image. Recently, however, portraiture's learning curve has begun to beckon. I'm now shyly keeping an eye out for people who enjoy being in front of the camera who will allow me to explore this genre from my side of the camera ...
